Why is the oil pink?
Astaxanthin. A microalgae-derived antioxidant, present in every bottle. The colour is the ingredient.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. No synthetic retinoids, no preservatives, no common irritants. Bakuchiol delivers retinol-equivalent results without photosensitivity or irritation.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
Yes. No retinol, no retinoids. Bakuchiol is plant-derived and considered safe during pregnancy and nursing.
Morning or evening?
Either. Bakuchiol does not cause photosensitivity. The oil absorbs quickly and leaves no residue.
What order do I apply it?
After cleansing, before moisturiser if you use one. Many find Huile replaces moisturiser entirely. 3–4 drops, warmed between palms, pressed into the skin.
What is cacay oil?
Harvested from wild trees in the Colombian rainforest. Three times the Vitamin E of argan. More natural retinol than rosehip. Exceptionally high in linoleic acid.
How long does a bottle last?
At 3–4 drops daily, approximately two to three months.
Shelf life?
18 months unopened. 12 months after opening. Store away from direct sunlight.
Is it vegan?
Yes. Every ingredient is plant-derived or synthesised from plant sources. No animal testing.
